A new restaurant with an unusual theme is opening in Glasgow 'soon'.

The Alien UFO Burger and Coffee Cafe will soon make its debut at Union Street in the city centre.

Serving breakfast and coffee until noon, and burgers, chips and ice cream from midday onwards, the venue is described as the 'perfect place for breakfast, lunch, brunch or dinner'.

As the name suggests, the space is kitted out with a quirky outer space theme, with the unit featuring UFO and alien decorations.

The team promises to serve up authentically fresh food, never from frozen, and quality smash burgers.

Even the ice cream is fresh, they say.

Adam, general manager for The Alien UFO Burger & Coffee Cafe, said: “We are delighted to be able to bring this Fresh Burger & Ice cream venture to the city centre of Glasgow.

“For a while, we have discussed the gap in the market for premium food in a relaxing environment.”

"We wanted to fill the gap by offering a premium burger and coffee ever from frozen. Even our ice cream is not from frozen."

The team is hiring 'earthlings' now and they can apply via email at Alienufoburger@gmail.com and in person.

The Alien UFO Burger & Coffee Cafe will be located at 102 Union Street opposite Glasgow Central Station's Union Street entrance.
