A 'significant' amount of 'drugs' has been found after cops raided a property in Glasgow.

Police say three people have been arrested and charged after they allegedly discovered a cannabis cultivation in the city.

The force says at around 3.10pm on Wednesday, August 28, officers searched an address on Paisley Road West.

During the search, officers allegedly recovered cannabis with an estimated value of more than £200,000.

Following that, a 30-year-old woman and two men - aged 29 and 34 - were arrested and charged in connection.

They appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Thursday, August 29.

Sergeant Chris Daly, Govan Community Policing Team, said: “This is a significant cannabis cultivation.

"The recovery of the plants and disruption of the operation is another step towards making our community safer.

“Tackling the supply and distribution of harmful substances is a priority for us. Information provided by the public is vital.

"I’d urge anyone with concerns or who witnesses suspicious behaviour around buildings that aren’t frequently used, to report it to us and we’ll fully investigate.”
