Radio legend Tony Blackburn has announced a Sounds of the 60s live tour - and he will bring the show to Glasgow.
Fans of the BBC Radio 2 show can catch the DJ live at the King's Theatre in Glasgow on June 17.
The tour is to celebrate his 60th year on the radio. Tony started his incredible broadcasting journey off the coast of Essex on the airwaves of pirate station Radio Caroline. He then went on to launch and be the first voice ever heard on BBC’s Radio 1 in 1967.
The Sounds of the 60s tour will attract its audience through its selection of beloved hits from the decade including the works of Diana Ross & The Supremes, The Everly Brothers, Elvis, The Beatles, The Beach Boys, The Drifters, Stevie Wonder, and Marvin Gaye. The iconic songs will all be performed by Sounds Of the 60s All-Star Band and Singers.
Tickets go on sale on September 9 at 10am at ticketmaster.co.uk.
