A plan to place a commemorative plaque on Glasgow's Kingston Bridge was approved.
The Institution of Civil Engineers has gained permission from the council to put up a bronze plaque on the south face of the north pier of the bridge, at the Broomielaw side.
Marking 50 years since the bridge opened, the plaque will highlight the importance of the structure and pay image to the engineer and contractor.
