A trauma team raced to an 'incident' at a property in Glasgow last night.

Police say they were called to an alleged disturbance at an address on Fingal Street in Maryhill on Thursday, September 5.

The force was alerted to the incident shortly after 8pm.

999 crews - including police and paramedics - rushed to the scene.

The Scottish Ambulance Service said they sent two ambulances, a trauma team, and a paramedic response car.

After that, cops say two men - aged 33 and 40 - were taken to hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile, they were also arrested in connection with the alleged incident.

An investigation into the 'disturbance' is underway.

During the incident, a post on social media showed several police units and an ambulance parked on the street.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Around 8.10pm on Thursday, September 5, 2024 we were called a report of a disturbance at a property on Fingal Street in Glasgow. 

“Emergency services attended and two men, aged 33 and 40, were taken to hospital for treatment.

"They were also arrested in connection with the incident and enquiries are ongoing.”

Meanwhile, a Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson added: “We received a call at 8.22pm on September 5 to attend an incident on Fingal Street, Glasgow.

"Two ambulances, a trauma team and a paramedic response car were dispatched to the scene.

"One patient was transported to Glasgow Royal Infirmary and the other to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.”
