A recycling centre in East Kilbride has been closed due to an ongoing 'incident'.
South Lanarkshire Council has said East Kilbride Household Waste & Recycling Centre at Peel Park Industrial Estate in the town is currently shut.
At the moment, it is unknown what the incident is.
However, the local authority has said they will advise members of the public when it reopens.
Our East Kilbride household waste and recycling centre is currently closed due to an incident. We’ll advise once it’s up and running again. If you have a booking for East Kilbride it will be accommodated at our Blantyre or Rutherglen sites until East Kilbride site re-opens
