An investigation has been launched after an eight-year-old girl was hit by a car.
Police raced to Broomfield Road in Glasgow around 7pm last night following a collision involving the child and a vehicle.
The girl was taken to hospital for treatment and was later released. Her condition is unknown.

However, cops confirmed that the vehicle involved was traced nearby and enquiries are ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 6pm on Saturday, September 7, 2024 we received a report of a collision involving a pedestrian and a vehicle on Broomfield Road in Glasgow.
"Officers attended. The pedestrian, an eight-year-old girl, was taken to hospital for treatment and later released.
"The vehicle was traced nearby a short time later and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances."
