A Glasgow restaurant has teased plans for a celebration to mark 49 years in the city.
China Sea has been operating in the city for almost half a century and claims to be one of the first Chinese eateries to open in Glasgow.
Located on Renfield Street, the restaurant dishes up authentic Cantonese cuisine and is known and loved by customers for its traditional decor including a huge sculpture of a Chinese dragon which hangs suspended from the main dining room.

Ahead of their official 49th anniversary on January 24, 2025, the team hinted that they will be planning a celebration.
They told guests to 'get ready' for the huge milestone.
A spokesperson said: "Can you believe it?! Chinese Sea Restaurant has been dishing out deliciousness in Glasgow for nearly HALF A CENTURY!
"Time flies when you're having fun (and amazing food)! Get ready to celebrate 49 incredible years with us soon (24 Jan 2025)!"
