Detectives are eager to track down a man after a brutal attack in East Kilbride.
A 34-year-old man was assaulted on Maxwell Drive at around 1.10am on Sunday, September 8 in the town.
He was rushed to Hairmyres Hospital to be treated.
Officers are now investigating this shocking incident and they are particularly eager to find a man who was wearing a white t-shirt and black trousers.
The individual was also holding a black jacket in his hand.
Detective Sergeant Jim Williamson said: “Our enquiries into this incident are ongoing and I am appealing for anyone who may have witnessed this to contact us.
“I would also appeal to anyone who may have private CCTV or dash-cam footage which may assist us to get in touch.”
