Cops have discovered a 'substantial' amount of drugs in a raid.
Officers executed a warrant at a premises on Coltswood Road in Coatbridge on Friday, August 30.
There they found a cannabis cultivation with an estimated value of over £379,000.
Two men, aged 33 and 18, have been arrested and charged in connection and they appeared at Airdrie Sheriff Court last week.
Following the find, Inspector Gavin Tuohy spoke out about the police's determination to combat the operation of illegal substances with the aid of the public.
He said: “This is a substantial recovery and underlines our commitment to the Serious Organised Crime Taskforce and the country’s Serious Organised Crime Strategy.
“Drugs cause misery in our communities and we will use all resources at our disposal to disrupt the cultivation and sale of illegal substances. Information provided by the public is vital in helping us continue to do this.”
