Residents have been evacuated from their homes in Glasgow amid an ongoing police incident.
Glasgow City Council has said Victoria Road is currently closed from Calder Street to Allison Street due to a road traffic collision.
Now, cops have revealed the busy Southside road has been shut after a car struck a premises in the area.

The force was alerted to the incident at around 5.30pm on Thursday, September 12.
Following that, residents from several properties in the area have been evacuated as a precaution.
Luckily, there are no reported injuries.
We reported how 999 crews – including police, fire, and paramedics – were spotted on the scene.

In images captured by the Glasgow Times, officers have cordoned off part of Victoria Road at Calder Street.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Victoria Road in Glasgow has been closed after a car struck a premises at around 5.50pm on Thursday, September 12, 2024.
“Residents have been evacuated from a number of properties as a precaution.
“There are no reports of any injuries. Emergency services are in attendance.”
