The family of a Glasgow man who vanished over two weeks ago are 'extremely concerned' about him.

Cops are currently trying to find Darren Pollock who has been reported missing from the Pollok area.

Police say the last confirmed sighting of the 42-year-old was next to the House for an Art Lover at Bellahouston Park at around 9.05am on Thursday, August 29, 2024.

Meanwhile, Darren was previously seen on Braidcraft Road where it meets Corkerhill Road at around 8.20am.

(Image: Police Scotland) We reported how Darren is described as being around 5ft 6inch tall, of medium build with short brown hair.

He was last seen wearing a white Canadian Goose jacket, a white hat, and dark-coloured shoes.

Cops say he has no access to a mobile phone and is not believed to have access to any money.

Now, officers have launched a fresh appeal to help track down the missing man.

Inspector Jamie McFarlane from Pollok Police Station said: “It has been more than two weeks since Darren was last seen and his family are extremely concerned about him.

“From CCTV we know that he was wearing a distinctive white puffer jacket with a fur hood and we are appealing to anyone who was in Bellahouston Park on the morning of Thursday, August 29, who may have seen Darren walking to please get in touch.

“We would also urge any motorists with dash-cams who were in the area to please check their footage in case they have captured anything which could help us to piece together Darren’s movements.

“Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 1988 of Wednesday, September 4, 2024.”
