A nine-year-old child has been left with serious injuries after being hit by a car in Paisley.
The incident took place on Bridge Street in the town shortly after 5.30pm on Monday, September 16.
Officers say they were called to a crash involving a car and a pedestrian.
999 crews raced to the scene. After that, the youngster was taken to hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Around 5.35pm on Monday, September 16, 2024, we received a report of a crash involving a car and a pedestrian on Bridge Street, Paisley.
“The nine-year-old child was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment to serious injuries.”
