The Scottish star opened up about his go-to food and drink spots in the city in an interview with Hot Press in 2023.
When interviewer Jess Murray told him she was planning on travelling to Parkhead to watch a Celtic match, the singer recommended the best places to go for food, cocktails, a night out, and a 'good Guinness' in the city.
He said: “If you want a good Guinness, go to MJ Heraghty’s pub on the Southside of Glasgow.
"You’ve got a few options there, but that’s the one I’ve been heading to recently for my Guinness.
“It depends what you wanna do. If you wanna have cocktails, you’ve got Vroni’s and if you want to go mental at night, go to the Sub Club and make sure you’ve f****** got a day off the next day.”
