A police helicopter was called to help find a walker in North Lanarkshire.
Officers from the force's air unit said they assisted cops on the ground to locate a walker in the Uddingston area on Wednesday, September 18.
Police say it comes after the individual became 'disoriented and confused' in a large rural area.
The helicopter crew managed to track down the walker and escort them to safety.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "The police helicopter assisted Police Scotland North Lanarkshire today to locate a walker in the Uddingston area.
"The walker had became disoriented and confused in a large rural area, with crew landing to assist her and escort her back to safety.
"Keeping people safe. Teamwork."
