A trauma team raced to an incident on a busy street in Glasgow.

999 crews - including police and paramedics - were called to Springburn Road in the North shortly after 9am on Thursday, September 19.

Police say they were called to a man found injured on the street.

Meanwhile, the Scottish Ambulance Service sent an ambulance, a paramedic response unit, and a trauma team to the scene.

Following that, the man was taken to hospital for treatment.

No crime was established following an investigation into the incident.

It is understood emergency crews were called to a petrol station on the street.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Around 9.15am on Thursday, September 19, 2024, we were called to a report of a man found injured in the Springburn Road area of Glasgow.

“He was taken to hospital for treatment.

"Officers attended and no criminality was established.”

A spokesperson for the Scottish Ambulance Service added: “We received a call at 9.11am to attend an incident on Springburn Road, Glasgow.

"We dispatched one ambulance, one paramedic response unit (PRU), and a trauma team to the scene.

"One patient was transported to Glasgow Royal Infirmary.”
