A man has been rushed to hospital after being hit by a car in Glasgow.
He was cycling along Levernside Road in the city's Pollok on Thursday afternoon when the collision occurred.
999 crews including police, an ambulance, two paramedic response units and a special operations response team raced to the scene at around 12.40pm.
The man was hospitalised to be treated for his injuries.
Cops confirmed that they are looking into the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 12.40pm on Thursday, September 19, 2024, police received a report of a crash involving a cyclist and a car on Levernside Road, Glasgow.
"The male cyclist was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment and enquiries are ongoing."
A spokesperson for the Scottish Ambulance Service said: "We received a call at 12:38 to attend an incident on Levernside Road, Pollok, Glasgow.
"We dispatched one ambulance, two paramedic response units (PRU), and one special operations response team (SORT) to the scene. One patient was transported to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital."
