A child was found with an 'extendable baton' after cops raced to an incident in East Kilbride.
Officers from the town's priority policing team were called to reports of alleged youth disorder and violence using weapons in the Murray Square area on Friday, September 20.
The force was alerted to the incident at around 5pm.
A 12-year-old was then searched and cops allegedly found an extendable baton in their pocket.
A referral will be made to the EEI coordinator.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "If you would like to contact us about disorder in your area, please contact 101 or 999 in an emergency.
"Alternatively, you can report crime anonymously to crime stoppers on 0800 555 111."
