A street in Glasgow has been taped off after a late-night 'stabbing'.
A police cordon was put in place around Leslie Street in the city's Pollokshields on Monday night.
An image shared with the Glasgow Times also shows a cop car parked in front of the entrance to the street.
The force confirmed that they had been called to a report of a serious assault on a 39-year-old man in the area at around 11.05pm.
He was taken to hospital to be treated for his injuries.
Meanwhile, a 39-year-old man was arrested in connection with the alleged incident.
An investigation is continuing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "A 39-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a serious assault on a 39-year-old man in Leslie Street, Pollokshields, Glasgow that we were called to around 11.05pm on Monday, September 23, 2024.
"The injured man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
"Enquires are continuing."
