A youth was caught with a 'blade' on a busy street in Coatbridge.
Police say they received a report of youths with 'fireworks' on Main Street in the town at around 9pm on Monday, September 23.
Following that, officers stopped and searched two youngsters.
No fireworks were recovered, however, one youth was allegedly found to be in possession of a five-inch kitchen knife.
The young person will be referred to youth justice.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "If you would like to contact us about disorder in your area, please contact 101 or 999 in an emergency.
"Alternatively, you can report crime anonymously to crime stoppers on 0800 555 111."
