Items spill onto M74 after car collides into central reservation (Image: Newsquest)
A car has collided with a central reservation on the M74 motorway sparking an investigation.
The black Nissan Navara was travelling northbound on the motorway near junction five Raith interchange near Bothwell and Uddingston on Monday, September 23.
It was towing a trailer and some of its contents spilled out across the road when it crashed at around 10.05am.
Two southbound lanes and one northbound lanes were closed for cleanup and reopened around 12pm.
No injuries were reported and officers are now probing the incident.
Anyone with information or dash-cam footage is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident 0831 of September 23.
