A major road in Glasgow is set to fully reopen after the 'early completion' of emergency repair works.
Scottish Water has completed an urgent sewer repair on a busy commuter route in the city's Southside three weeks ahead of schedule.
The work has been taking place on Pollokshaws Road at the corner of Langside Avenue and Minard Road.

Four-way temporary traffic lights have been in operation on the road since the start of September.
However, they will be removed by mid-morning on Thursday, September 25.
The water company says the works took place after a property had been experiencing internal sewer flooding and the problem was located to a five-metre-deep damaged section of pipework under the pavement outside.

A spokesperson for Scottish Water said: “We have completed repairs and backfilled and reinstated the pavement and road and removed all traffic management.
“This is nearly three weeks earlier than we had anticipated and given how busy the area is we are particularly pleased to have been able to complete the work.
“We are grateful to everyone who has worked with us to allow us to carry out the repair quickly and as always, their patience and understanding is appreciated.”
