An incredibly popular Chinese restaurant has revealed an opening date for its new location.

I-Chai will open I-Chai Express on Bridgewater Place in Erskine on Sunday, September 29 at 2.30pm.

The much-loved food joint already has a spot in Glasgow's West End on Crow Road.

Revealing the opening date for their new venue, the eatery said they have welcomed guests from Erskine, Clydebank, and the surrounding areas over the years and they are 'delighted' to bring the food spot 'closer to their homes'.

Announcing the news, the eatery said: "We are thrilled to announce that I-Chai Express Erskine will officially open its doors on Sunday, September 29, at 2.30pm.

"After carefully considering potential locations for this fourth branch, Erskine felt like the perfect choice.
