South Lanarkshire Council has revealed new opening hours for its Household Waste and Recycling Centres.
The local authority has announced its dumps will be switching to their winter opening hours from Tuesday, October 1.
This means waste facilities across the area will only be open from 8am until 5pm each day of the week.

Announcing the new opening times on social media, the council said: "Household Waste and Recycling Centres - winter opening hours.
"From Tuesday, October 1, 2024, our waste and recycling centres will switch to winter opening hours: 8am to 5pm, Monday to Sunday.
"Please note: no entry without a booking."
