Two men were seen in the vicinity of a late-night incident in Cumbernauld.
A car was deliberately set on fire on Hornbeam Road in the town at around 9.45pm on Saturday, September 28.
The blaze was extinguished and no one was reported to be injured.
Detectives are investigating the fire attack and they are particularly eager to find two men who were in the area at the time.
The pair were seen carrying a fuel can.
Detective Constable David Williamson said: “Enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone with information to contact us.
“We also ask anyone who may have private CCTV or dashcam footage of the area at the time to come forward.”
