A busy road towards Glasgow was closed due to an emergency incident.
The A726 was shut eastbound near Eaglesham due to a collision at around 9.30am on Thursday, October 3.
Traffic was 'heavy' in the area due to the crash, which involved a car colliding with a stationary van.

An update was issued at 12.30pm that the road had fully reopened.
The occupants of the car were checked over at the scene and the vehicles were recovered.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 8.55am on Thursday, October 3, 2024, we received a report of a crash involving a car and a stationary van on the A726 between Newton Mearns and East Kilbride.
“Emergency services attended and the occupants were checked over at the scene.
“Recovery was arranged for the vehicles.”
