A supermarket in East Kilbride has been broken into during an early-morning attack. 

Morrisons on MacNeish Way in East Kilbride was broken into on Wednesday, October 2.

The force revealed that they received reports of the crime around 3.15am. 

(Image: Image of Morrisons) Though cops did not confirm that the break-in was at the supermarket, a spokesperson for Morrison's said they were assisting police with their inquiry. 

The force went on to say that an investigation has now been launched.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 3.15am on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, officers received a report of a break-in at a premises on MacNeish Way, East Kilbride.

“Enquiries are ongoing.”
