A teenage boy has been arrested after a 'disturbance' in Rutherglen.
Cops were called to the alleged incident in Lauder Street at around 9.20pm on Friday, October 4.
An 18-year-old male was found injured and he was then rushed to hospital to be treated by medics.
The force has arrested a 14-year-old male in connection and he was later released after further investigations.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 9.20pm on Friday, October 4, 2024, police received a report of a disturbance involving a group of youths in Lauder Drive, Rutherglen.
"Officers attended and an 18-year-old male was found injured. He has been taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
"A 14-year-old boy was arrested and has been released pending further enquiry."
