A man has died after being found with serious injuries.
The 38-year-old was taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow but he was sadly pronounced dead on arrival.
Emergency services were called to General's Gate in Uddingston at around 7.35pm on Sunday, October 6, after the alarm was raised.

In images captured by the Glasgow Times, police cordoned off the area.
On top of that, officers were seen standing guard at the scene.
Following the man's death, cops say an investigation is now underway.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Around 7.35pm on Sunday, October 6, 2024, police were called to General’s Gate, Uddingston, where a 38-year-old man was found seriously injured.
“He was taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow but was pronounced dead on arrival.
“Officers remain at the scene as the investigation into his death continue.”
