A young man has been rushed to hospital after being hit by a car on a busy road in Paisley.
Police say they received a report of a crash involving a cyclist and a car on Brediland Road on Sunday, October 6.
The force was alerted to the incident shortly after 9pm.

Emergency services crews raced to the scene. Following that, a 23-year-old man - who was the cyclist - was taken to hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, during the crash, the road was closed.
An investigation is now underway.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Around 9.25pm on Sunday, October 6, 2024, officers received a report of a crash involving a cyclist and a car on Brediland Road, Paisley.
“A 23-year-old man, the cyclist, was taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital for treatment.
“The road was closed but later reopened.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
