Today, people in Glasgow marked one-year since Hamas' attack on Israel.

On October 7, 2023, Hamas and several other Palestinian nationalist militant groups launched armed incursions from the Gaza Strip into the Gaza Envelope of southern Israel.

The attacks led to the escalation of the ongoing Israel–Hamas conflict.

Since last year, more than 41,000 Palestinians and 1,139 Israelis have been killed during the war.

"We, the people, stand in solidarity with you. We think of you every day in our thoughts and prayers and our dreams for the future.
