Cops have started their hunt for a killer by scouring the scene of a brutal murder in Uddingston.
David Graham, known by pals as 'Div', was viciously assaulted in the General's Gate area of the town on Sunday, October 6, at around 7.35pm.
Members of the public raced to his aid until an ambulance arrived.

The 38-year-old, from Cambuslang, was then rushed to hospital, however, he was tragically pronounced dead on arrival.
His relatives have since been made aware.
Now, police have been spotted searching the area in a hunt for clues to solve the shocking killing.
In images captured by the Glasgow Times, several officers can be seen looking through the streets with sticks for potential evidence.
Police have also been pictured searching drains, a sandpit, and under cars.
Following his tragic death, tributes have flocked in for the much-loved man on social media.

One said: "Awful.
"RIP young man. Thoughts are with all his family and friends."
A second added: "What is this world coming to when people aren't even safe to walk the streets anymore?
"Thoughts are with David's friends and family."
Another said: "Thoughts are with the family of David. He was a great guy who was known well by all the community and was a very caring guy."
A fourth said: "Poor family.
"Heartbreaking. Remember David well from when we were young.
"He was a nice guy."

Meanwhile, a pal of David said: "Can't believe it.
"My heart goes out to his family.
"You were some boy Div Graham. You will be sadly missed by so many."
Another friend posted a picture of David with the caption: "RIP Div."
Following a post-mortem examination, Police Scotland's Major Investigation Team says Mr Graham's death is being treated as murder.
Officers say they are interested in a silver car which was seen parked near the scene and which then drove off.
Cops are urging anyone with information on the shocking attack to get in touch.
Detective Chief Inspector Graham McCreadie, Major Investigation Teams West, said: "Our thoughts are with Mr Graham's family and friends at this extremely difficult time.
"A dedicated team of officers are working to get them answers and identify those responsible.
"We have already spoken to a number of people who came to Mr Graham’s aid until the ambulance arrived and I would like to thank them for their assistance.
"However, I am still keen to speak to anyone else who was in the area at the time and may have seen or heard anything suspicious."
The detective continued to say: "Please get in touch with officers.
“We would also urge any motorists with dashcams who were in General’s Gate or Old Glasgow Road areas on Sunday night to check your footage.
"You may have captured something which could be of significance to our investigation.
"We understand that incidents of this nature can cause concern for the local community but please be assured we are doing everything we can to identify those involved.
"There will be additional patrols in the area as we carry out our enquiries and anyone with any concerns can approach these officers.
"We have also set up a website that gives members of the public access to a form to send information directly to the Major Investigation Team, which can be submitted anonymously if you wish.”

A spokesperson for Police Scotland added: "Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident number 3143 of Sunday, October 6, 2024.
