A popular comedian is set to perform two shows in Glasgow next month.
Karen Dunbar, known for her role in Chewin' The Fat, will perform at Websters Theatre in the West End on Friday, November 8, as part of her Scottish tour. The shows will take place at 6.30pm and 9.30pm.
The tour, titled An Evening With Karen Dunbar, will see the star perform 24 shows in 23 venues across the country.
The show will see Karen share stories from her life and career, with a heap of humour and jokes.
This is Karen’s third tour with Aberdeen-based promoters Breakneck Comedy since 2023, and as Breakneck Comedy founder, Naz Hussain, explains, audiences can expect brand-new stories and jokes.
He said: "I’m delighted that Karen is working with us again, and we’re both looking forward to bringing her brand-new show to venues across Scotland.
"It’s testament to Karen’s talent and storytelling prowess that she’s got a whole new show for audiences, even though she toured with us earlier in the year."
Breakneck Comedy is renowned for bringing top comedians and performers to towns and venues that might not be on the usual tour schedule.
Naz said: "I love bringing big names to towns that some promoters might overlook.
"It’s really exciting to be able to put on shows all over Scotland and make it easier for people to be able to enjoy a great night of comedy and entertainment without them having to worry about catching a train home from the city."
