The owners of a Glasgow cafe have announced an 'end of an era' amid a big change for the venue.
Dennistoun sandwich and brunch spot Mesa was put up for sale in August 2023 when the owner decided to "move on as his family grows and priorities change."
Now the current owners Andrea and Laurie have confirmed the sale is complete and the baton is officially being passed on to a new duo, Jamie and Kyle.
In an emotional message to customers, they thanked them for their support and shared their excitement at what Jamie and Kyle will bring to Mesa.

The pair said: "Thank you for allowing us to become an important part of your community. We have enjoyed every minute.
"The time has come and is the end of an era but we are proudly passing the baton on to fresh blood.
"We can’t wait to see what the new owners bring to the table. Please join us in wishing all the best to Kyle, who you will know from Mesa, and his good friend Jamie who will now be driving this thing and we just know it's in safe hands."
Customers responded to the news revealed by the pair who first unveiled Mesa on the East End food scene in 2019.

Another wrote: "I’ll remember all the amazing brunches, lazy Mondays and friendly chats. My regular trips to the Mesa window during the pandemic were a lifesaver."
A third added: "Dennistoun got lucky when you opened here! Thanks Andrea for such delicious food and vibes."
A fourth said: "Best of luck with everything that's next! Dennistoun has been so lucky, thanks for keeping us well-fed!"
