Nineties pop star Sonia is set to perform in Glasgow.
The King's Theatre has announced that Sonia will join the cast of the Scottish premiere of NOW That’s What I Call A Musical in 2025.
The show, which features a plethora of hits from the NOW That's What I Call Music series, will be staged in the city centre venue from Tuesday to Saturday, February 18 to 22.
The show is an original British musical penned by award-winning comedian Pippa Evans.
It is directed and choreographed by Craig Revel Horwood.
Sonia will not only star in the show but will also perform her hit songs as part of the evening's entertainment.
The show is set to take the audience on a nostalgic journey through the catalogue of NOW That's What I Call Music, which has sold an estimated 200 million copies around the world.
The musical is set in Birmingham in 1989, and follows two school friends, Gemma and April, as they navigate life, love, and a school reunion in 2009.
A host of other talent has been lined up for the production.
Kieran Cooper, Christopher Glover, Chris Grahamson, Maia Hawkins, and Lauren Hendricks are among the many joining the cast.
They will be joined by Shakil Hussain, Nikita Johal, Luke Latchman, Matthew Mori, Phil Sealey, Callum Tempest and Poppy Tierney.
The cast also includes Emily Barnett-Salter, Molly Cheesley, Lizzy Ives, Stefanos Petri, Martha Pothen, and Blake Tuke.
They join the previously announced Eastenders star Nina Wadia who will star as Gemma and X Factor's Sam Bailey as April. Sonia will appear in the show as herself, singing the songs that made her a NOW icon.
