A second man was arrested following the death of a Cambuslang man.
Police confirmed that a 41-year-old man was arrested in connection with the death of David Graham, who died on arrival at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital last Sunday.
He was walking on General's Gate in Uddingston at 7.35pm, when he was allegedly attacked.
Police and ambulance services were alerted and they rushed to the scene.
Previously, as the Glasgow Times reported at the time, a 29-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the death.
He was due to appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court yesterday.
