A man has been released after being arrested in connection to the death of David Graham.
David, from Cambuslang, was allegedly attacked while walking in General's Gate in Uddingston last Sunday, October 6.
He was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
Following investigations into his death, which police said they were treating as murder, a 41-year-old man was arrested in connection.
He has now been released pending further enquiries.
We previously reported that cops arrested and charged a 29-year-old man in connection with David's death.
Liam Kippen appeared at Hamilton Sheriff Court on Thursday, October 10 charged with murder.
The 29-year-old, whose address was listed as Motherwell, made no plea.
He was remanded in custody and will appear again within the next eight days.
Police say enquiries into David's death are continuing.
