A fundraiser has been launched to help the grieving family of a man who died in Uddingston.
Cambuslang dad David Graham was walking alone in General's Gate on Sunday, October 6 when he was allegedly attacked.
The 38-year-old was pronounced dead on arrival at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
Following the tragic news, friends and loved ones of David have rallied together to raise some money for his family.

So far over £1500 has been raised.
Friend Jamieleigh Walker, who created the fundraiser, said: "It is with heavy hearts that we share the tragic news of the loss of our beloved David.
"David was the most selfless and caring person you’d have ever met who was tragically taken far too soon on October 6, 2024. This unimaginable loss has left us all devastated.
"David was a loving husband, dad, son, brother and friend. I have created this GoFundMe campaign to support David’s family during this incredibly difficult time.
"Our goal is to alleviate some of the financial burdens they are facing.
"While no amount of money can fill the void left by David’s passing, we hope to provide some comfort and support to his wife and their family.
"We understand that this is a challenging time for everyone, and we are grateful for any contribution you can make, no matter the size. Every donation will go directly to David’s family to help them navigate the difficult days ahead."
Anyone who wishes to donate to the GoFundMe page can do so here.
It comes after we reported that a man appeared in court charged with the murder of David.
Liam Kippen, 29, appeared at Hamilton Sheriff Court on Thursday, October 10.
He made no plea and was remanded in custody to appear again within the next eight days.
Meanwhile, a 41-year-old man was arrested and later released pending further enquiries.
Police say enquiries into David's death are continuing.
