A teen was allegedly found with a weapon after police were called to an incident involving a group.
Cops were alerted to a report of a disturbance involving youths at Neville in East Kilbride on Saturday afternoon.
They were made aware of the alleged incident at around 5pm.
When officers attended they arrested and charged a 15-year-old male in connection with having a weapon.
A report is being sent to the Children's Panel.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 5pm on Saturday, October 12, we received a report of a disturbance by youths at Neville, East Kilbride.
"Officers attended and a 15-year-old male was arrested and charged in connection with possession of a weapon.
"A report will be sent to the Children's Panel."
