A third man has been arrested following the death of David Graham in Uddingston.

Officers have arrested a 28-year-old man in connection with his death.

We reported how Mr Graham, known by pals as 'Div', was allegedly attacked while walking alone in the General's Gate area of the town on Sunday, October 6, at around 7.35pm.

The 38-year-old, from Cambuslang, was then rushed to hospital, however, he was sadly pronounced dead on arrival.

His relatives have since been made aware.

Detectives say an investigation into the incident remains ongoing.

A 29-year-old man was previously arrested and charged in connection with the death and appeared at Hamilton Sheriff Court on Thursday, October 10.

Meanwhile, a 41-year-old man was arrested in connection with the death and released pending further enquiries.

Following his tragic death, tributes have flocked in for the much-loved man on social media. 

One person said: "Thoughts are with the family of David.

"He was a great guy who was known well by all the community and was a very caring guy."
