A prisoner has died in custody at HMP Low Moss in Bishopbriggs.
The Scottish Prison Service (SPS) announced that Robert Stratton passed away on Sunday, October 13.
Now, SPS says a fatal accident inquiry will be held into the 50-year-old's death.
Meanwhile, Police Scotland has been advised of the man's death and the matter will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal.

A spokesperson for the SPS said: “Every death, whether in prison custody or in our communities, is a tragedy for all those who knew and supported the individual.
“Following the death of someone in our care, Police Scotland are advised, and the matter is reported to the Procurator Fiscal.
"Fatal Accident Inquiries are held in due course.”
