More than 100 flood warnings remain in place across the UK on Monday due to Storm Ashley.
A yellow weather alert for wind, issued by the Met Office, is in place until 9am today across the north and east of Scotland.

The notice warned travellers to brace for potential power cuts and longer journey times after the first named storm of the season led to 47 flood warnings being in place from the Scottish Environment Flood Agency over the weekend.
The Met Office said winds will ease slightly as Storm Ashley moves north-east on Monday, with a mix of scattered showers and sunny spells expected in its wake.

However, the weather is likely to turn “unsettled” later in the week, bringing possible heavy rain and strong winds once more.
ScotRail has also issued a warning this morning on X, as they told commuters to check ahead of travelling due to the strong winds and heavy rain.
