Several Glasgow councillors are in the running for a top award.
Councillor Elaine McSporran and Councillor Jon Molyneux have been nominated for Community Champion award at the 2024 LGIU Scotland and CCLA annual Cllr Awards.
Bailie Annette Christie has been shortlisted for Innovator of the Year, while Councillor Anthony Carroll is up for Young Councillor of the Year.
The competition saw more than 350 nominations across five categories, all celebrating the wide-ranging work of councillors.

McSporran's nomination highlighted her commitment to residents and the wider community, particularly her dedication to tacklingMolyneux's nomination praised his commitment to ensuring residents' voices are heard at all levels of the council’s decision-making.
His tireless work on local campaigns was particularly noted.
Christie's nomination recognised her passion for using culture and sport to improve the mental, physical, and economic well-being of Glaswegians.
Carroll, meanwhile, was recognised for his dedication to making the city a better place for everyone, with a particular focus on protecting the most vulnerable.
Jonathan Carr-West, chief executive of Local Government Information Unit (LGIU) Scotland, said: "The judging panel was blown away by the number of extremely high quality nominations this year, with councillors up and down the country going the extra mile for residents.
"The shortlist for the 2024 Cllr Awards represents some of the most devoted elected representatives in Scotland.
"With councils working under enormous pressure, these Awards are a hugely important way to champion what councillors achieve for the places we live.
"Congratulations to all the councillors nominated and shortlisted and I look forward to announcing the winners in November."
The winners will be announced at the City Chambers in Edinburgh on November 14.
The Cllr Awards judging panel is made up of senior councillors and leading stakeholders from across the sector.
These are the only national awards that celebrate and showcase the work of individual councillors.
