A man has been arrested following the death of a 36-year-old man and the alleged attempted murder of a 59-year-old man.
The Glasgow Times previously reported that emergency services raced to Burnbank Centre in Hamilton at around 3.50pm yesterday following reports of two men injured within the premises.
Upon arrival, cops said the 36-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene, and the 59-year-old man was taken by ambulance to hospital.
Now, the force have confirmed that a murder enquiry has been launched following the alleged incident and a 56-year-old man has been arrested.

Officers remain in the area and some closures are in place on Whitehill Road and Purdie Street. The closures are are likely to last until after midday today with limited access to shops.
Members of the public are asked to avoid the area.
