A pervert was caught with indecent images of children in his marital home.

Robert Peacock, 42, was snared with the sick haul at the property in Glasgow's Battlefield on October 5, 2023.

Glasgow Sheriff Court heard that officers entered Peacock's home and detained him as well as his husband.

Peacock's Samsung mobile phone was recovered which was found to contain indecent images on it.

He was arrested and taken into custody while a further examination on the device took place.

 

Prosecutor Victoria Keel said: "Analysis on the phone found still images of exploitation and abuse of children.

"There was a total of 20 still images of male children aged between 10 and 16.

"These were on an area of the device which is not accessible without specialist software."

It was stated that the images were stored on the phone between December 2022 and August 2023.

First offender Peacock pleaded guilty of possession of indecent images of children.

Sentence was deferred pending background reports until next month by Sheriff Iain Fleming who put Peacock on the sex offenders register.

He was also granted bail meantime.
