A pub-goer needed stitches after he was attacked by a stranger in a Glasgow pub.
Daniel Hassen was working as a duty manager at the Croft Bar in Croftfoot on October 21 last year.
At 11.20pm, a punter came up to him to complain about the behaviour of Daryl Miller, who was also at the bar.
Mr Hassen approached Miller after the conversation to ask him to leave.
Miller put his hand on the staff member's neck and pushed him backwards.
A group of customers saw this, intervened and escorted Miller out.
He tried to come back but Steven Smith noticed him and pushed him backwards.
Miller then punched Mr Smith in the face with his left hand, causing him to fall.
He then left towards Castlemilk Road.
Mr Smith was given first aid and taken to hospital, where he received stitches to a laceration on his lip.
Police were alerted. They came and reviewed CCTV.
On November 20, 2023, Miller went to Govan police office. One cop recognised him as the man from the footage. He was arrested.

The 29-year-old appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court this week after he pleaded guilty to the two assaults.
His solicitor said: "He has limited recollection. He is sorry and is able to put himself in the shoes of the complainer.
"He has nothing else outstanding, he is 29 and works full-time. He is a stepfather to two children.
"He had a relatively good upbringing and has a pro-social lifestyle.
"He was suffering with his mental health but it is no longer an issue. He is fully aware of sentencing options. Since this, he has advised me he limits his alcohol intake."
Sheriff Collette Gallagher told Miller: "You pleaded guilty to two serious charges. You clearly know how serious these offences are.
"Your solicitor asked me to avoid a custodial sentence and I am satisfied that there are alternatives."
The Hamilton resident was sentenced to 15 months of supervision and ordered to pay Steven Smith £1000 and Daniel Hassen £200.
He will also have to complete 240 hours of unpaid work.
