A Glasgow road has been reduced to three lanes after a collision.

Police have locked down the A814 Clydeside Expressway westbound after the Ferry Road overbridge.

This is following a traffic incident.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area as large vehicles will not be able to pass the obstruction.

A diversion is in place via the Finnieston Street off-ramp. Officers are on the scene, directing cars.

The nature of the crash is not yet known and the force said the restriction will be in place "until further notice".
