Police have closed a Glasgow road due to an ongoing incident.
A collision has occurred at Glasgow Road in Baillieston in the city's East End.
Part of the road near South Scott Street eastbound has been shut.
Emergency services are on the scene, according to Glasgow City Council's roads department.
They have said that drivers should try to find another route to travel and follow police advice.
A statement issued at 6pm on Tuesday, October 29 reads: "Due to an RTC (road traffic collision), Glasgow Road is closed eastbound from South Scott Street.
"Emergency services are in attendance.
"Drivers are advised to seek an alternative route."
Cops confirmed that one vehicle was involved in the incident and that it was recovered.
It is understood that no one was injured.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 5.25pm on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, police received a report of a one-vehicle crash on Main Street, Baillieston, Glasgow.
"Recovery was completed around 6.25pm.”
Glasgow City Council confirmed that the road had reopened at around 6.30pm.
