Glasgow parents celebrating their baby's first Christmas will be able to register for a special event with the Lord Provost.
Baby's First Christmas returns for another year this festive period with online registration for the adorable event opening tomorrow, Friday, November 1 at 9am.
Ahead of the annual tradition, Glasgow’s Lord Provost Jacqueline McLaren was pictured cuddling little Lette Grace McGeouch.
Lette's proud parents Emily McCann, 25, and Marky McGeouch, 26, from Milton, joined the Lord Provost with the eight-month-old to publicise this unique Christmas event.
This special occasion will see the first 250 eligible babies registered invited to have their picture taken with the Lord Provost in the City Chambers on Saturday, December 7.
Baby’s First Christmas is organised by Glasgow City Council and has attracted thousands of babies and their parents since it began in 2005 and forms part of the city’s Glasgow Loves Christmas celebrations.
It is a firm favourite with Glasgow families who want to have their baby's milestone first Christmas celebrated with a keepsake that they will cherish forever.
The Lord Provost said: “Mums and dads really look forward to Christmas with a new baby. It’s a magical time of year for families.
"It’s fantastic fun to welcome Glasgow’s newest citizens and make it a memorable festive season.”
