An airline has officially launched flights and holidays on new routes from Glasgow to winter sun getaways.

easyJet's first flight from Glasgow Airport to Lanzarote took off on Sunday, October 27 and will operate on Thursdays on Sundays.

Flights to Fuerteventura took off on Wednesday, October 30 and these will be operating on Wednesdays and Saturdays. 

The new twice-weekly services to the Canary Islands aim to provide customers in Scotland with a greater of winter sun destinations for those looking to relax and unwind in year-round warm weather.

All easyJet holiday packages include flights, a hotel, 23kg luggage and transfers on beach holidays.
